What is Layman's Lens?
A layman is a plain man. One without specialized training or knowledge. If a member a church, he's one who doesn't have a fancy title or an impressive Div degree. Yet, this can be an advantage. Laymen experience the world as ordinary people, which helps them relate to other ordinary people, people who also see things plainly.

A lens helps us to see. More specifically it magnifies or enlightens something we couldn't see without it. We all have a lens, a way we see the world. A layman often sees the world simply, which can be helpful when the world seems complicated. But in a layman's ordinary experiences, he will often come upon something deep, profound, and worth sharing. It's here the gift of ordinariness comes into play. The layman's explanation can be understood.

Layman's Lens exists to help us see life's depths with plain eyes. When we experience a deep truth, something profound, it tends to nourish our soul. May you find that here.
